This video series brings together retired Santa Clara University faculty and current gerontology minors for meaningful conversations about life in and beyond the classroom. Through personal stories, career reflections, and teaching insights, retired professors share the legacy of their work and the lasting impact they've had on student lives. These conversations offer fresh perspectives on aging, education, and what it means to carry forward values of service, justice, and lifelong learning. These intergenerational dialogues honor the past while inspiring the future—one story at a time.
Disclaimer
These interviews were conducted by students as part of an educational project in gerontology to honor and learn from the experiences of retired faculty. The stories and opinions shared reflect the personal views of the individuals interviewed and may not represent the perspectives of the students, the gerontology minor, or Santa Clara University as a whole. While we value the richness of these reflections, the university does not necessarily endorse all statements made. We invite listeners to approach these conversations with curiosity, respect, and an appreciation for the diverse voices that have shaped our community.
