Abstract
Content: 977 entries, Harrington’s Mutsun notes in between rehearings of Rumsen using various older documents on the Santa Cruz and Soledad languages. Terms related to the supernatural (God, sorcery, bewitching); kinship terms; body parts and descriptions related to body parts (long-haired, etc.); foods; descriptions (big one, little one, etc.); animals and animal parts; nouns and phrases related to cooking; weather-related phenomena; various actions (verbs); various nouns (one man, many men, etc.). Entries 515-537 have phases of the moon, tides, wind, and other natural phenomena. Entries 182-183 have notes about traditional making of acorn bread and bulrush.
