Abstract
Content: 330 entries. Mostly Christian/Catholic religious words and phrases. These are Arroyo’s materials, recopied by Marta Herrera, not Harrington’s work.Words and phrases related to prayer and religion; people and entities from the Christian Bible; biblical translations; phrases related to sin and confession; song lyrics; many longer entries of translated prayer, sermons, catechism (teaching Catholic theology), confessions; days of the week and holidays; death and apocalypse. Arroyo’s translation of Catholic religious materials into Mutsun. The language usage, vocabulary, and grammar in this chapter is very different from the other chapters, and the interpretation of many words and sentences is unclear.Entries 63-64 contain protected cultural material that has been removed from the public version of the collection. The complete version that contains this material is available to Community members.
