Abstract
Access Afya seeks to bridge the healthcare gap for Nairobi’s urban poor by delivering affordable medicine through their franchise clinics and telemedicine app. Their mission is to “create access to quality health care for the global mass market through sustainable care models.” In collaboration with Access Afya, we hope to elucidate strategies to increase their ability to effectively reach a wide range of customer segments within their target market and create a plan to increase the organization’s virtual conversion rate.
Our research interventions will provide information on patient perceptions and corresponding behavior, allowing Access Afya to implement new strategies to increase their ability to scale and reach new clientele. In the long run, this information will markedly improve this enterprise’s ability to fulfill their mission of providing accessible health care to those with limited access.
