We decided to write this piece as a conversation because this format enabled us to grapple with the complex issues raised at the Color of Violence n Conference together. In this dialogue, we strive to unpack the terms "violence" and "women ofcolor," understand the issue ofviolence in the aftermath ofSeptember n, 2001, and envision what is to be done with the insightful critiques articulated at the Conference
