The process through which ideas and objects are recognized, interpreted, applied, differentiated, classified, and understood is Categorization. The word “categorization implies that objects are sorted into categories for some specific purpose. When the sense organs reflect the objects around us, the human mind develop categories of ideas as follows:

Concepts, or mental representations of our surroundings, nature, human beings, social life, family life, political life and so many others through a cognition process. During the first stage of the cognition process, the objective external world is reflected to a human brain through his five sense organs, the organs of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. At first, knowledge is perceptual. When sufficient perceptual knowledge is accumulated, ideas or conceptual knowledge occurs or established.
