SWIRL is a cross-disciplinary initiative at Santa Clara University that introduces faculty to research-informed best practices around the teaching of writing, information literacy, and critical thinking. SWIRL includes representatives from the College of Arts & Sciences, the School of Engineering, the HUB Writing Center, Educational Assessment, and the University Library. This Scholar Commons series includes publications and presentation materials from this initiative.
