Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the document entitled "Doctrinal Responsibilities: Approaches to Promoting Cooperation and Resolving Misunderstandings Between Bishops and Theologians." He says that the document promotes the resolution of whatever doctrinal conflicts between theologians and bishops. However, he states that the document makes no effort in addressing the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Committee of Doctrine's specific role.
