Abstract
Since this is the inaugural Management Review, l(1): l-3 Copyright All rights of reproduction 0 1998 in any by JAI Press Inc. form Food and Agribusiness Management reserved. Research: Advancing the Theory and Practice issue of the International Food and Agribusiness Man- agement Review, we feel it is appropriate for the editors and editorial board to define the scope and purpose of this publication, publish, the structure of the editorial which editorial decisions will be made.
The title of the Review intimates to mean we have a responsibility the types of articles that we will team, and the processes and procedures by its scope. We interpret the word international to publish papers that are important to a world in which markets cross borders that are more permeable than ever before. We embrace a broad and inclusive definition offood and agribusiness, the supply of basic inputs, the production storage, processing, and distribution of primary of agricultural agricultural starting with products, the and food products and their derivatives, final and encompassing consumer.
