Abstract
Development in Gardening (DIG), is a social enterprise working to increase the health, wealth, and sense of belonging of individuals in ultra vulnerable communities across Uganda, Kenya, and Senegal. DIG teaches these individuals how to farm restorative home gardens which, in turn, better their health, serve as a source of income, and foster community. DIG has a system of local facilitators that teach farmers across their various locations. DIG needs a tool that all local facilitators can use when advising farmers on crop selections for their home gardens.
