Abstract
Implementing smart farms is a solution to the many challenges that workers in agriculture must face. As climate change and droughts can negatively affect agriculture, Smart Farming provides a more efficient use of essential resources, such as water. Our project aims to contribute to successful resource management and be implemented as a part of a larger vision of smart farming, developed for Aver Winery located in Gilroy, CA. Research is conducted to determine the needed components for the pods and this paper looks at Bluetooth Mesh as a method for communication between all pods.
