Abstract
FreeWheelers, a bike and bike part retailer, requested ThoughtWorks to deliver a product that would bring business value to their current retailing process by delivering an online presence in which customers will be able to engage in online shopping and delivery. For high-end bicycle enthusiasts, bike lovers, and serious bikers who want high-end and high quality bikes and bike parts, the FreeWheelers website is an online shop that lets a customer research and purchase high-end bicycles. An agreement between the project team (ThoughtWorks) and the client team (Freewheelers) was made relating to project acceptance and support for handing responsibility of the new application from the project team to the client team. This document outlines the work completed from the project team, resolved and unresolved defects, security issues and suggestions for improvements the client team can make in the future.
