Abstract
The Sisters Blended Value Project and Eggpreneur are social enterprises that promote women’s economic empowerment to alleviate poverty and food insecurity in East Africa. In the face of these challenges, there is a desire among many women and Catholic congregations to gain access to economic resources and new entrepreneurial skills to become financially independent.
