Abstract
The objective of this project was to address the user experience and increasing need for parking at Santa Clara University. This project included an analysis of transportation and structural elements in order to redesign the current parking structure near the main entrance of campus. The proposed parking garage will improve efficiency and sustainability, and it will be a major stepping stone between the parking structures in use today with little technology and low efficiency and the higher capacity, fully automated parking structures of the future. The new system would provide the most cost effective and space efficient parking structure for use in a variety of situations, providing for the needs of future vehicles.
